On March 28, Sulli’s older brother, Choi Mo, uploaded a short post on his social media (SNS), stating, “It’s been six years since I lost my sister. You played your games for six years. The pain you will endure for the next six years… Don’t break too quickly.”
He also left a comment, seemingly responding to a user who accused him of being vague about everything in the post, “Whether it’s revenge from the past or an ongoing matter, that’s for me to judge. Why are you judging it based on your own assumptions?”

Netizens are speculating that Choi’s post is targeting actor Kim Soo-hyun, who has been embroiled in ongoing controversy. Recently, Choi has been posting a series of cryptic messages on his social media.
Is He Really Pointing Fingers at Kim Soo-hyun?
Previously, on March 27, he posted only the single word “Sadist” to his personal SNS without further explanation.

Immediately, netizens flooded the comments asking, “Who’s the sadist?”, “What are you trying to say?”, and “Who’s this about?” But Choi remained silent. The only response he gave was to someone who commented, “Real?” — to which he replied, “Sadist from Real.“

On March 22, he followed up by criticizing fans who defended Kim Soo-hyun, “How is it that so-called fans are even less helpful? I never even mentioned the name ‘Soo-hyun,’ yet you all rushed in… You must be going crazy because you can’t fact-check, right? I’ve lived for years without being able to fact-check. I get by with just this one sentence: ‘Well, I guess it couldn’t be helped.’ It helps me stay sane.”

Then on March 23, he posted again, saying, “My life, your life, everyone’s life is ‘Real’”, referencing the 2017 movie “Real” in which Sulli and Kim Soo-hyun co-starred.
The film, released in June 2017, was Sulli’s last major acting project and Kim Soo Hyun’s final movie before military enlistment. Directed by Lee Sa-rang, a co-founder of Kim Soo-hyun’s agency Gold Medalist, the movie drew attention for Sulli’s explicit scenes but was heavily criticized for its overall quality.
Timing Sparks Suspicions Amid Kim Soo-hyun’s Current Scandal
Choi’s cryptic posts have resurfaced just as Kim Soo-hyun faces mounting backlash due to his alleged relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron, who passed away in February. The ongoing legal battle and rumor mill surrounding underage dating claims have already placed the actor in a controversial spotlight.

Now, Choi’s repeated allusions to “Real” and his vague jabs are being interpreted by fans and netizens as possibly targeting Kim Soo Hyun — though nothing has been confirmed.
One user remarked, “He explicitly said ‘Sadist from Real.’ Isn’t it obvious?” Another responded, “If he’s making an accusation, he should be direct instead of being cryptic.”

As the drama deepens, many are left wondering: Who is the “Sadist” — and what truth lies behind these cryptic words?
